Upcoming trip!

Well sitting here going to head to bed soon. This will be my second trip this year, Last one was in march and it was a new experience cause it was so cold. I had fished in November before but stayed in a heated camper, the trip would have been better if my air mattress didn't deflate and leave us sleeping on the ground. That was an awesome time waking up on the ground freezing with your dog sleeping on your face. But this trip will be better I'm hoping, calling for rain but a small chance everyday. So when i get back I'll have more pictures and I'm sure great stories to tell!

Meremac Springs

Well recently i've been down to Meremac springs. We went for the day just to visit the park and a excuse to get some fishing. We got down there on sunday this past weekend and it was a great day low 70's in March what can you ask for. Well what you can ask for when fishing is people who have respect and enough fish that the park can support the people in the river. the park itself is very simple and nice and a great place to fish if your going down for the day. I guess i was expecting more fore the day than getting there and not catching anything, hell i did'nt even really see but one fish the whole time we were there. i guess im spoiled from fishing an outstanding fishery like Montauk that Meremac seems so sub par. Im hoping to start fly fishing and tying my own flies.
